Bryant Pond 4-H Camp

Using our Lake Christopher watershed as an outdoor laboratory, the Naturalist program takes exploration and natural history to a new and exciting level.  With authentic scientific equipment, campers fine tune their nature observation skills and investigate watershed issues while exploring its diverse ecosystems (forest, wetland, field, and pond). Naturalists design and carry out a conservation project such as building and installing mats to control invasive plants in the lake.  A geology field trip to the nearby Bumpus Mine is a highlight of the week.  If you're ready to do hands-on science combined with team-building, outdoor skills and a service-learning experience that has a lasting impact, the Naturalist program is for you!
