2008 Scholarships:

Please note: In order to allow us to offer scholarships to as many families as possible, we ask that campers take advantage of only one scholarship at a time. Thank you.

1.  ME IF&W conservation education scholarship awards have changed.

These scholarships may now be used for any of the following programs:
              * Conservation Camp
              * Natural Explorer
              * Archery Camp
              * Fishing Camp
              * Paddling Camp

These funds will be awarded in $200 - $300 scholarships, based on need. Funding is made available through money raised by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's annual moose permit auction.  These scholarships are for Maine residents only, and are all one time only and first come, first served.

2.  L.L.Bean, Inc.  - Scholarship assistance for the Level 3 and Level 4 programs, (Maine Woodscraft, Junior Maine Guide, Primitive Living and Primitive Challenge).  Please call the office for availability and eligibility.  Limited number available.

3. Stiffler - McFadden Family Scholarships  - 10 - $575.00 scholarships for residents of Albany or Greenwood Maine. awarded

4.  Pine Tree 4-H Foundation - These $100.00 scholarships can be used for any program.  You must be a Maine resident.  These are all one time only and first come, first serve.

5.  Kennebec Savings Bank - These $100.00 scholarships can be used for any program.  You must be a Kennebec County resident.  These are all one time only and first come, first serve. awarded

6. Penobscot County Conservation Association - Limited number of $350.00 scholarships available for residents of Penobscot County.

We also anticipate scholarship funds from numerous other sources. Please check back frequently, we will try to keep this list up to date.
