In the Junior Explorer program, younger campers experience the outdoors in a safe and positive group environment.  This program awakens the powers of observation and builds campers’ confidence in outdoor skills. With the flexibility of day or overnight options, "Juniors" can look forward to fishing, hiking, gardening, kayaking, pond and lake exploration, challenging games, group development activities, and an introduction to map and compass skills.  With our playful and nurturing staff, Junior Explorers also have plenty of time for creative projects, arts in nature and simple, imaginative outdoor play.
